Accountability to our donors is extremely important to Orange County's United Way.  We want our donors to be confident that they are making the best investment in our community.  To achieve this Orange County's United Way adheres to the following:

• Funding decisions address emerging community needs while providing funding for a safety net of continuous support for organizations meeting critical on-going needs.
• Funded organizations are required to inform Orange County's United Way how they will use the dollars they receive to achieve measurable results before they are considered for funding.
• Funding decisions are made by our local board of directors, based on recommendations from investment experts, community leaders, donors and funded organizations.
• Funds raised and funds distributed are published annually and are available directly on our website at:
